Cultural Food Differences
There can be dramatic differences in food culture, or what people from different cultures like and enjoy eating. North America, and in particular the US, can be characterized as having a tremendous amount of junk foods.
There also is a great amount of processed food products available that may taste good, but has very little nutritional value. This food also can be laden with GMO and chemical products that does not suit the tastes of people in Europe in general, and certainly not the refined palates of the French.
